June 9th &13th

now that's lettuce!
Tomatoes already!
What a great opening day we had at the market last Saturday! The crowd wasn't huge, but it was continuous and many vendors sold out!  It was so great to see everyone coming together and supporting your local farmers and bakers!  It was a beautiful morning for the market with the sun holding off until late morning and the clouds keeping all the wonderful greens (lettuce, kale, spinach) nice a cool while our customers perused the different vendor tents!

If you didn't make it out to our opening day, you can still come to our opening Wednesday market, June 9th from 3:00-5:30 along Wayne Avenue.  We hope to catch the IRMC crowd coming and going from the hospital!
Wednesdays markets this year will bring free health screenings from Beacon Ridge nursing facility. This week there will be free blood pressure and grip strength testing for those who are interested!

so ripe so fresh!
On Saturday we will have two special tents filled. Our Community Tent will welcome The Indiana Players and our Artisan Tent will welcome new this season Emily Lasinsky!  You can check out some of her work and her bio at our Artist page!

herbs a plenty
As the season continues our farmers will have a wider variety of produce to offer, but these wet spring days are perfect for your salad greens, collard greens, rhubarb, and herbs!  And if you're lucky you'll be able to find some of the sweetest strawberries around, nothing compares to a fresh picked spring berry!!!

Kid's Tent:  *We are still seeking community organizations in our Kid's Tent for our Saturday market, please contact us at indianafarmmarket@gmail.com if you're interested!*

Musician Tent: TBD (Thanks to the gracious help and support from Sean Howard we will have musicians this season! Due to the nature of finding and scheduling them we most likely won't have them listed before Saturday!!)
