We had gorgeous weather at the market this week and some
beautiful flowers and produce to match!
We’re seeing more summer fruits, including peaches and lots of
melons. Apple season is also just around
the corner, and we should be seeing more of them from Sleepy Hollow Orchard
within the next few weeks.
Now is also a great time to think about making some
pickles or finding other fun ways to preserve some of this year’s harvest.
Saturday brought lovely music from Texas Ted and Jenna
Vendetta with guest Doc Pober and a new artisan, Jennifer Braughler, with lots
of fun, creative items.
This Saturday, August 15, the First Unitarian Universalist Church of
Indiana will be in our community tent.
The Church is grounded in love, support and acceptance and is committed
to promoting compassion and responsible thought and action in the world. Please stop by and say hello!
