Last Chance for 7th Street Relocation

There will be a borough council meeting this Tuesday, April 8 at 7 PM.  This is a full council meeting where they will finally be voting on the proposal to relocate our WEDNESDAY farmers' market from our current borough lot spot on 8th and Church Street to the newly finished IRMC Park at North 7th and Philadelphia Street.  We are hoping for another wonderful community turn out at this meeting to show the councilors that the Indiana community supports keeping our Wednesday market in the borough!!!

If the decision turns out to be a negative vote, declining our relocation proposal, the Farmers' Market will most likely be looking for other options outside of the borough for our Wednesday market due to the need for more space (we are expanding!!)

We appreciate the tremendous support we've been receiving from our community (especially those who took the time to sign and comment on the petition made by a community member), and hope if you are available Tuesday evening you could come and share your support to council members verbally.

One last reminder, next week Monday, April 14, we will be having a public market meeting, anyone's welcome to attend.  We are especially hoping to bring out some interested vendors, artists, musicians, and community groups who might want to participate in the market this season.

We are so excited for the 2014 season, and will let you know the date of our opening very soon :)

*If you are interested in being involved with the market this season as a vendor/artist/musician/community group, please email us at indianafarmmarket@gmail.com *
