Without shoppers who visit us weekly throughout the season and support our local farmers and producers, we wouldn't have a market. That's why each year we set aside one special Saturday to celebrate YOU!
Customer Appreciation Day is a time to celebrate our market and the people who help to make it what it is. Bring the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled morning!
The big day is finally here, and there is lots to look forward to, including:
- Fresh, local produce, baked goods, meats, eggs, dairy, and more
- Live music by Country Blue, an acoustic country and bluegrass duo
- Information about watershed conservation and water quality with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy
- Nutrition information and recipes from an IRMC dietitian
- Tomato sampling in the market booth - taste some new varieties and find your favorite!
Some of our vendors will join in the spirit of the day with special promotions and sampling in their booths, as well.
- 3 Ponds Farm - Free bulb of garlic with a purchase of $10 or more
- Longview Farm and Apiary - Buy 2 basil, get 1 free
- Mahoning Creek Farm - Lamb meatball samples; Bring your Mahoning Creek cooler bag and purchase $15 or more of meats and get $1 off
Finally, be sure to stop by the Market Information booth for a free chance to win a basket of market products! You can also learn more about a new texting program available to customers. Sign up on Saturday, and get an extra entry into the drawing.
As always, you can swipe your credit, debit, or EBT card for market tokens in the market information booth. Vendors who accept tokens will have a sign posted in their booths.
